How to Check Your Refund Status
To check your federal refund status, access the IRS’s “Where’s My Refund” tool and enter the following information:

Enter your SSN (Social Security Number) or ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) from your tax return.

Select the Filing Status listed on your tax return.

Enter the Refund Amount shown on your tax return.
Don’t Forget! Your bank may take an additional 2–5 business days to process the deposit after the IRS initiates the refund.
